Printing Industry Midwest (PIM), the not-for-profit trade association representing the Midwest’s leading print service providers, has announced that Kristin Pilling-Davis has been promoted to be PIM’s new executive director.

Since 2008, Pilling-Davis has served as PIM’s director of education and programming and has been instrumental in developing, leading key programs and initiatives for the association’s membership base. Pilling-Davis is a printing industry veteran and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new position. Pilling-Davis will be responsible for working with PIM’s Board of Directors and an all-star team at PIM to continue to ensure the vitality, innovation and success of PIM’s members.

Mike Lane, executive director for Meyers and PIM’s current chairman of the board, comments, “Kristin has a deep commitment to the success of our trade association and moreover knows what’s required to meet the ever-changing realities of today’s printing industry membership base.”

Prior to her work at PIM, Pilling-Davis has worked as an association executive since 1999 and has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from University of Iowa. Giving her a strong background in association management and communication.

Born and raised in Iowa, Pilling-Davis moved to the Twin Cities in 1995 after graduating college. When she is not working Pilling-Davis spends her time helping manage her family and dog, fancies herself a runner as her hobby and spends most years disappointed by the Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings football teams.
